Summer Staff

Overview:

Quiet Waters is seeking compassionate and experienced Summer Staff to oversee our respite care program and ensure that individuals/families touched by disability and volunteers receive the necessary support to maintain their well-being serving or being served creating a discipleship culture. 

Responsibilities:

  • Respite Care Coordination: Coordinate and communicate respite care services to individuals/families and volunteers  including -  identifying volunteers, matching participants with volunteers, and scheduling the respite care programming.

  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that respite care services meet high standards of quality and safety and incorporate discipleship throughout events.

  • Volunteer Training: Train and supervise respite care volunteers.

  • Family Support: Provide support and resources to families utilizing respite care services.

  • Data Collection and Analysis: Collect and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of the respite care program and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years or older.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience volunteering or working with individuals with disabilities or their families.

  • Strong understanding of respite care services and their benefits.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Ability to work effectively with families and caregivers.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Passion for helping individuals with disabilities and their families.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in caregiving or a related field.

Compensation and Benefits: Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
