Summer Staff
Overview:
Quiet Waters is seeking compassionate and experienced Summer Staff to oversee our respite care program and ensure that individuals/families touched by disability and volunteers receive the necessary support to maintain their well-being serving or being served creating a discipleship culture.
Responsibilities:
Respite Care Coordination: Coordinate and communicate respite care services to individuals/families and volunteers including - identifying volunteers, matching participants with volunteers, and scheduling the respite care programming.
Quality Assurance: Ensure that respite care services meet high standards of quality and safety and incorporate discipleship throughout events.
Volunteer Training: Train and supervise respite care volunteers.
Family Support: Provide support and resources to families utilizing respite care services.
Data Collection and Analysis: Collect and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of the respite care program and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
Must be 18 years or older.
Minimum of 3 years of experience volunteering or working with individuals with disabilities or their families.
Strong understanding of respite care services and their benefits.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work effectively with families and caregivers.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Passion for helping individuals with disabilities and their families.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in caregiving or a related field.
Compensation and Benefits: Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
